What is this?

If you are an independent artist, this web based PHP application will give you the ability to offer digital content such as videos, audio, and wallpapers to your fans. You will have the opportunity to offer instant download, and earn revenue by charging, or using adverts.

This application will generate unlimited trackable Datamatrix barcodes for each content that you upload. It will also gather analytics data when people scan them or type in the URL. When you are out performing, and people see your Datamatrix barcodes, they will be able to download your work, view your gigs/tours, and follow you on Twitter.

It will generate image overlays for you that you could easily hand them out to people during the performance.

Each download made, and revenue earned is reported back to you, and you can view these stats from you mobile phone!

How does it work?

When you upload your content, the content will have a trackable Datamatrix barcode. This Datamatrix barcode is then to be displayed on printed materials e.g, a poster. When people scan these Datamatrix barcodes, or type in the URL, they will be able to download the content. Depending on how you have set it up, the content can be downloaded immediately, or later by sending the user the download link by SMS.

People can also find information about any upcoming events.

You can then log in to the admin account and view all the download statistics, as well as view the analytics data.

You will get graphical reports showing you weekly, monthly and yearly scans. You will also be able to compare scanning trends easily by viewing the line graphs.

Media comparison

You will be able to compare the response you get from different types of media e.g. brand A newspaper vs brand B magazine, thus comparing the effectiveness of print marketing.

Download comparison

You will be able to compare files downloaded over a period of time as well as compare one file type against another file type e.g music vs videos.

Billing & Messaging System

You can set up Google Checkout, PayPal Mobile, as well as SMS messaging.

Bango checkout is set up when uploading files.

Advert support

You have a choice to use ads from Admob or Google Adsense.

Incase there is something wrong on Datamatrix barcodes already in circulation, you can simply disable them and direct people who scan them to an alternative site/page.
